Pimms O'Clock.

No Fat Friday as such today, though the wedding festivities certainly meant it was a fat friday for me! I managed to sneak a quick visit home for a wedding partay which consisted of early morning tea and croissants, hours of TV coverage, cupcakes and an afternoon BBQ.

Twas bliss. Pimms-fuelled, kitsch-decked, bliss.

I thought the service was beautiful, and the dress. OM. Absolutely stunning. My mum decided it was similar to hers, and with that we ended up flicking through old photo albums and wedding pictures; we even found flowers from her bouquet and it all got a bit nostalgic!

Right now I'd love nothing more than to be continuing the celebrations in an epic street party but sadly I'll have to dream on as it's work tomorrow followed by a bit of revision.

Exciting huh?

Apologies if posts are short and sporadic over the next few weeks - I'm getting ready for the final exams of my degree, with a couple of deadlines fast approaching too. After which my plans consist of...well, not much at the moment, and I couldn't be happier. Getting a job is definitely on the cards, but before jumping head first into that chapter, I want to enjoy having the freedom to do things, and the freedom to do nothing at all. Until then it's one last slog before this degree is over ... what a relief.

You're celebrations certainly do sound blissful. Although we didn't *do* anything, I watched the bits of everything I wanted to (in between cleaning) and thoroughly enjoyed one of my last days at home before finals and doom await me next week too. 34 days to go, 34 days to go, 34 days to go....
