A little gift from Little Fille

Yep. I'm finally back in the blogosphere. With the degree well and truly over [more on that another time] I have time on my hands, a smile on my face and summer on my mind. And so it was with a great big beam of a grin that I took up the lovely Mari's offer to send me something bright and cheerful from her beautiful range Little Fille.

The first thing to say is how wonderful this lady is. From what I've heard, many brands can be cold and indifferent in their approach to bloggers, but Mari couldn't have been further from that. After confessing an enjoyment of Fat Fridays [which was equally as terrifying as it was adorable...I still struggle to grasp the concept that people genuinely read this!], she offered me the choice of any piece from a huge range of designs and I immediately became that annoyingly indecisive kid in the candy shop.

Eventually I picked out this coral and white decorated hemp band which I imagined to be perfect for keeping any greasy flyaway hair at bay at Glasto.

Now I'm not your typical bow-girl....they, along with ribbons, tend to remind me of my five year old, frill-obsessed self and if I'm honest, I'd like to steer as far away from that memory as possible. But Mari being the clever [and perhaps equally as traumatised by her childhood] designer that she is made sure that not only are the bows on her headbands removable, but the whole thing is reversible to reveal a knot that can be worn at the top instead. Perfect.

I'll confess that I did try the band as it was intended, all bright-bowed and beautiful, but it just didn't suit me. Switched around however and I've got myself a perfectly 'me' headband which even tempted me to wear my hair up....yet another thing I usually avoid. At all costs.

// Headband: Little Fille // Top: Yayer // Shorts, tights, boots: Primark //

And the best thing about this little gift from Mari? She also sent me another design for one of you lovely readers. I'll be hosting a giveaway in the next month or so, but if you can't wait that long you can find Little Fille in Topshop Oxford Circus [Londoners you lucky things] or on the Little Fille website ♥ here

And just in case you were really intrigued, here's a sneak peek of what you could win soon

Bow-tiful!

Oh how lovely! It looks great on you.
I love the "ropeyness" of it. I've been lusting after a Little Fille headband for ages, so I might have to take the plunge this summer.
