Neon rocks.

Since finding the perfect lemon/lime nail varnish that I've craved for a good few months, I've been drawn to all sorts of bright colours and couldn't resist pairing this pretty lary polish with an equally eye-aching lip stain from NeverTooBusyToBeBeautiful.

And okay, the brand's name may have been somewhat of a handful, but I used to love nothing more than tiptoeing through their sparkling cavern of rainbowed make-ups and decadent perfumes. It really pained me to hear that they'd closed down recently, as this is still one of my favourite lip colours and the bejewelled pot it came in is sure to remain on my dressing table well after it's contents have vanished.

Apparently, painting my lips bright pink, my fingers acid yellow and my toes tangerine orange wasn't quite enough to quench my neon thirst, and so I went on to mess around with a kirby grip and some baby pink nail varnish.

And it wasn't as catastrophic as it sounds!

Thanks to Sara and her Missguided goody bags for providing these polkas!

LOVE the yellow! I'm a big fan of mustard but this colour is just so sunshiney (makes up for our crap summer we're having so far haha). You are such a cutie! :) ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

I was thinking of getting a lemon nail varnish, I saw Barry M's and loved it so I might take the plunge now! Yours look fantastic.

I actually love that yellow colour! :) I've tried more of a lemon colour and it didn't quite work, so maybe neon is the way to go! xxx

wow, thats a fabulous colour for your nails. Very summery. I've always shyed away from neons, always thought they're too lary and would draw too much attention - but that yellow is really something, very eye-catching and in a good way too!
