⋆After some strict Dr's orders to rest and take things easy, my Aunt took up knitting and sent us girlies some rather beautiful handmade gloves :) ⋆
⋆ My sister knew me well enough to get me this alternative journal for my birthday. You basically spend your time ripping, biting, stamping, sticking and cutting it to pieces. Oh, and then taping it together and sending it to yourself. It's twisted genius. ⋆
⋆ I managed to take a sneaky trip home for my dad's birthday this week, and found him the perfect card - anything star-wars, galactic or slightly science fiction is sure to please, so this was a winner ⋆
⋆ Snacks for said trip home involved these ridiculously expensive but oh-so-worth-it crisps. Nom. ⋆
⋆ Fruli is like beer for beer-haters. No, I don't understand it either, but if it can satisfy the quench of number one beer despiser [moi] then it's sure to be a good thing ⋆
⋆There's no picture for this but today I head home for a glorious five weeks of Easter break, hopefully filled with plenty of chocolate, sunshine and bucket loads of blogging. [very conscious that work hasn't featured one bit in this prediction. Let's leave it at that shall we?] ⋆
⋆And as one giant P.S I just wanted to say a quick but sincere thank you for all your kind words lately. The support from you lot is overwhelming at times, I only hope I can provide the same nuggets of loveliness when you're in need of a little reassurance too! ⋆

well belgian beer's just amazing.. that might be one of the only things that make me proud of my home country (as do some amazing musicians)!

I am such a list addict, they always make me feel productive. That may be because I start each one with about three things I've already done and think 'wow, three things crossed off already? Time for a rest then!'
