A brief guide to the city of Barcelona...
Look up. As someone told me, something breathtaking is never too far away.
~
Don't accept free roses. They're not. Free, that is.
~
Be wary of super-gigantic, small-child-sized glasses of coke. They're expensive, but fun.
~
Singing to Enrique Iglesias is a must. In public.
~
Dreaming that said star is an architect may occur due to Gaudi-obsessed tours.
~
Speaking of the devil, Gaudi was a genius. A crazy-wonderful, creative genius.
~
Do not lose your room key. Or, if you do, do not proceed to the hotel reception in your Bongos pyjama shorts.
Yep, I have those. And yep, I did.
~
Mirablau Bar. Go there. Just, do it.
~
Always ask why any free champagne is free. But be polite, not scary.
~
And most importantly? Laugh.
And I'm not talking some petty sniggering. Bellow, let go, giggle until it hurts. And then laugh some more.
I certainly did, and it was one of the best holidays I've ever had.

Oh wow--it looks like you had such a lovely time. Barca is one of my favorite cities! I hope that you made it to the Palau de la Musica Catalana when you were there--it's heavenly and LOL at getting locked out in your pajamas. :)

These tips are definitely to follow! Barcelona is such a beautiful city, I went on an art trip a couple of years back and loved it (though the anti-tourist protestors weren't too polite!)

These are awesome photos, D! I thought I recognised some of the art nouveau movement. I have been but only for the day (we stayed in the nearby Salou). Barcelona is so nice. It looks like you had such an awesome time.
Thank you for the kind words about the H&C tee, i'm sure Niki will read it and will very much appreciate it. I know what you mean with the "gig merchandise", i bought a Pipettes one and although it's simple and i love it, it always seems more like a souvenir than something that I can wear. xxx
Gorgeous shots!!
xx
I really want to go to Barcelona! xx
