⋆My lovely housemate surprised me with a chocolate flake birthday cake before our 9am lecture. It was possibly the earliest rendition of Happy Birthday I've heard. As well as the best breakfast. Ever.⋆

⋆My sister's handmade card based on the newspaper blackout blog/book. She thought it shoddy, I thought it far too emotional to handle and proceeded to cry. I win.⋆

⋆My mum made a glorious tower of cupcakes instead of the usual iced sponge. Much better in my eyes - why have one cake when you can have twenty?! ⋆

All in all it's been such a wonderful week. I've been spoilt, treated and surprised by some lovely friends and wonderful family who, frankly, I owe everything to. The last few years have been such a blast, but not without their struggles.

If I'd known at my 18th birthday how far things could come in just 3 years, I would probably have laughed. Wishing secretly of course that it was true.
And it was.
 It is.

So thank you. To those who weren't afraid to pick up the pieces and help things get back on track. I'll never forget it.
