This Week Has Been

Cloudless

 Shady

 Pinned

 Layered

 Half Empty

Sweet-toothed

⋆ How beautiful was the sky this week? Well..until yesterday at least. And I'm no Alan Titchmarsh but I've always loved these trees in our garden- they're so bright and cheerful ⋆

⋆ Cloudless skies and sunny rays made for the perfect excuse to break out the sunglasses ⋆

⋆I've been trying to organise my room since coming back. It's ... a working progress, but i did manage to rearrange my jewellery on this notice board, it's never looked this neat. Ever. ⋆

⋆ I nearly died when i saw these. I was almost, almost, as excited as when i discovered Thornton's blackforest bars. But alas, the trifles were a disappointment. Basically a pot of generic, chocolatey mush with a cherry at the bottom. Great. ⋆

⋆I go through phases when I'm working. I'll have bursts of self-belief and productivity, followed quickly by long periods of doubt and demotivation. This week has definitely been the latter, but mama's cups of tea made me feel less bitter about the whole thing. The twenty seven sugars probably helped ⋆

⋆ Said work-fail has resulted in a lot of chocolate consumption, a habit which has now manifested itself into a permanent feature in my room. Cath Kidston never looked so classy ⋆

I go through half empty phases too, actually I'm not really sure it's a phase anymore, I've been stuck in a rut for about three months now :S

Milky way crispy rolls!! My favourites.

I have no motivation at the minute either! Terrible! So many things to do :) x

Everybody should have a bowl of sweet things in their room, ready to aid and comfort them in times of need and desperation (approximately every 3 hours)!

Shame the trifle was a disappointment too. But I'm laying all the blame on you for the cookies I baked yesterday. Not the ones featured in Fat Friday (didn't have the right ingredients, too lazy to go and get said missing ingredients) but amazingly lovely Peanut Butter ones. All your fault!

BOWL TWINS!

Except mine is lacking in milky way crispy rolls,
which I love and will be purchasing ASAP.
Yay.

I've been loving the long sunny days at the moment- they are beautiful and much needed!

Sorry you've felt demotivated this week, I think tea and chocolate sounds like the perfect pick me up though! I hope things are better next week.

I love the first two photographs, and the cup of tea! I looooove tea. I think if you cut open my veins tea flows through them, not blood.
