Let's do the time warp.

// Skirt: Vintage // Top: Asos // Tights, Jacket: Primark // Necklace: birthday gift from Maria // Bag: Ollie and Nic

Hello!

It's me, just in case you'd forgotten what I looked like after that eternity of food and photography posts. As much as I love writing about chocolate covered, sugar coated, sticky toffee concoctions, I'm also pretty partial to poring over outfit posts from you lovely lot, so I figured it was about time to include another one!

Sadly this is yet another example of an outfit I wore at home before returning to Uni. When the weather was actually inviting, exams were a mere blip on the horizon, and slob-suits were practically unworn. HA. How that's changed.

Right now I'm sitting in a cold house, wrapped in a dressing gown and beginning to feel the onset of insanity after what feels like weeks [but is merely days] of revision.

Exams? Go away please. *clicks heels*

...

Okay, so Dorothy's method didn't work - any tips for escaping those dreaded days are welcome - suggestions on a post card please.

Back to the topic of outfit posts, it always feels a little strange to post outfits from days, or even weeks ago. What do you reckon? Do you prefer to read outfit posts on the day they were worn?

Personally I just enjoy reading outfit posts full stop. Whether from today, last week or last year, I'll always be drawing inspiration from bloggers who showcase their personal style, and upon discovering new blogs, I'll often skip right back to their first posts and pore over the outfits there.

For me, being able to post outfits is simply a matter of practicality. When I'm at home, they'll be much more frequent and more accurate time-wise than when I'm here at Uni: camera-less and work-loaded.

So for all of its degree-making, self-transforming, independence-inducing goodness, Uni is a bit of a Debbie Downer when it comes to blogging.

But I fully intend to make this summer a tea-induced blogging haze full of outfits, photos and, of course, Fat Fridays.

Now just to combat the dreaded E word.

This is a really adorable outfit. I LOVE the skirt. Outfit posts are my favourite, I want to do more of them myself but camera is a bit naff and need a stand. I asked my bf to take some of me and he just laughed and called me vain. Nice!

Good luck with exams , I'm sure you'll do fine. The only way I got through revision was hourly tea breaks and me and my house mates would stop every 3hours or so, meet up in the living room and binge on chocolate. That and about 4,000 litres of late night red bull....

Love this, especially the skirt! I know what you mean about uni, I struggle to blog with a full time job and at least I can forget about that once I leave at 5pm, but with uni I guess you never switch off :(

Good luck with it all lady :) xx

I big time heart that necklace Maria bought you! I'm loving the whole outfit, I must say.
Personally, I don't care when the outfit is from, I just love seeing outfits! I know what you mean about posting them though - always feels a bit wrong. I say carry on! I know I've got a few old ones saved up still to post!
Hang in there with the revision, I'm finished now and trust me, it's all worth it in the end! Xx

Oh dear, poor you! Hope it's not too cold there? I prescribe Green&Blacks hot chocolate for warming you up and cheering you up on revision breaks!

I often post outfits that are a bit 'old', because I never have time to take photos every day. I don't think it's strange, unless you're posting an outfit from winter in July or something!

Good luck with your exams! :)
I just like seeing outfit posts, I don't care what time they're from, as long as I can see what they've worn! I think it's better to have an outfit post that's a little older than not one at all :) xx

I don't mind when the outfit is from, and to be honest had you not said it was from ages away, I bet we wouldn't have even had a clue! Haha, as long as you get pictured looking beautifully as you do! I like the mix of the skirt and tee together, it's very urban yet cute

Good luck with all your exams, I am sure you will do brilliantly! I found that lots of fat food and music helped me thourgh my revision.
I love outfit posts too, I am an extremely nosy person so they suit me down to the ground. They are also a good place to get inspiration from.
You look lovely, love your vintage skirt. Its such a nice pattern!

KEEP AT THE REVISION. I am with you on that one, I've spent 13 hours and counting so far in the bloody horrible place. I will not resent my degree I will not resent my degree I will not resent my degree I will not resent my degree. Lol! I'd just suggest having a packet of your favourite goodies nearby for those desperate moments (fruit pastilles do it for me). And if I even had to say... your outfit post is lovely. So summery. You've inspired me when I next go shopping to look for a denim jacket too! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

Love the outfit, I like your skirt! I'm with you on the outfit posts, for me it's a bit of practicality too. Sometimes I have time to take outfit shots a week in a row, but I don't feel like posting them all, so I'll save a few for when I don't have time to keep the regular.

Good luck with the exams. I'm in the middle of a ridiculous maths assignment that's due in two days and was started yesterday. Woo!
