This week has been...

Scholarly

 Colourful

 Nuts

 Lucky

 Retro

 Clashing

 Tasty

⋆ When I say scholarly I of course mean stressful. The blankness of that notepad speaks volumes...oopsie ⋆

⋆ Here we go again, shades on and suncream out as soon as the sun shines. I for one love it, the premature summer can stay as long as it wants, as can the ice-cream van⋆

⋆ After many a conversation about peanut butter on twitter, the lovely Laura sent me some samples from her stash [which I imagine to be an immeasurably vast room, shrined to the peanut gods] and I can safely say that chocolate peanut butter is the way to go. Good bye Nutella in the Sunpat jar, I'm going premixed from now on.⋆

⋆ Another wonderful package I received this week was the result of winning a giveaway over on Stephanie's blog. That girl is such a sweetheart, thanking her and Shopalike very much for a shiny-new satchel! ⋆

⋆ Can you get any better [and more regressive] than party rings? No. No you cannot. ⋆

⋆ It may look hideously garish, but the whole striped dress + bright blue shirt thing [yeah, it's a thing now] actually worked out pretty nicely. Alas no full pictures, but I might brave it again sometime soon. So long as I don't get mistaken for Curly the Clown ⋆

⋆ I would happily eat this pasta forever. And then some.
And I love the mini forks/sporks you get with these lunches, I could easily become one of those weird people who collects stuff like that. Wait...did I make that up? Ok so now I'm one of those weird people who thinks about people who don't even collect things like that. What can I say.⋆

⋆ I'm off on holiday today, and am definitely in need of a few days to escape from everything and enjoy some peace and quiet. Hence the distinct lack of posts coming your way. I'll no doubt be getting snap happy whilst I'm there, so look out for some photos in a week or so.
Buhbyenow :) ⋆

Enjoy your trip, mine made the world of difference. Just got home on Sunday, had a cuple of extra days off and hoping I'll be more productive for it. Make the most, and look forward to the return.

Go party rings and peanut butter by the way!
