❤ This week saw the [much awaited and severely dragged out] publishing of our degree results online and I'm pleased to say that I have a degree! I'm really happy with the results and a bit overwhelmed and emotional at the fact that I and so many of my friends have managed to come out of these three years successfully and happily. Let the celebrations commence! Beginning with chocolate owls, as you do. ❤
❤ Got a lovely bouquet from a proud Aunt, Uncle and cousins too. There's always something so warming and grown-up about getting flowers. I can remember when exam-congratulations took the form of an ice-cream after school. How times change eh? ❤
❤ Swimming? Good. Wearing these things? Bad. So, so bad. I do resemble some sort of amphibian when wearing these, and that super-attractive red mark you get from the pressure? Totally brings out my eyes. Swimming chic is IN people. ❤
❤ I've gone a bit overboard with the gradient nails this week. Monday was purple, by friday they were blue, and today I'm planning coral/peach. Aaaah the life of a graduate. Speaking of which, the job hunt has been utterly depressing, but with a shiny new CV in hand I'm not giving up! ❤

Congratulations! And good luck for the job hunt, it can be pretty brutal right now but keep slogging away at it. There are nice people hiring somewhere, promise!

Love the fading nails, great idea! Swimming makes you feel so good (eventually). I also love the hair old men who ogle as you get in and out. x

As for swimming chic, I gave up on google, and I'm pretty sure I'm never going to look attractive in the proper costume I wear (and need for support) when proper swimming. But hey, I like to swim, so there.

oh bloody hell, tell me about. Life as a graduate I feel your pain with the fruitless, NEVERENDING job hunt. I just want some money, i'm at teh stage where ill do anything for it!
