I popped into Brum with a friend today for a bit of shopping and general chilling out - she works horrible shifts, so her days off give her the perfect excuse to go and spend some monies, and me the perfect excuse to be a good friend and spend alongside her. Good deed for the day and all ;)
I wore a skirt I bought from H+M last week - it's only one of their £3.99 basics, but they're perfect for those indecisive moods first thing in a morning. I'd also slicked on a bit of 'Wanna Pepperoni' H+M nail colour. It's like a dirty yellow, so unless the pepperoni they based it on was about 3 weeks old, I'm a tad unsure about the name, but it's definitely a good 'un for Autumn.
Topped it off with my squirrel-riding-a-harley t-shirt [which the man in Krispy Kremes seemed to like, and was partially the reason we got a free doughnut. The other reason being that I was cheeky enough to ask for one] and, in a moment of utter stupidity [I mean, of course it's going to be 20 odd degrees in October] my not-so-leather jacket.
Despite there being a power cut as we got to the till, I eventually managed to nab a couple of bargain skirts in H&M [I do love it in there atm, if you couldn't tell] and got Friendly Fires' Album, which I've already been listening to religiously on Youtube - it takes me back to the hazy afternoon that we saw them at Glastonbury, and I reckon it's going to be a favourite for a long time.
And even if you're not a fan at least check out Ed's dancing. A-mazing.
