WELL BOO HOO

Some of you might have heard via blogposts already, that the lovely lot at Boohoo offered vouchers to those of us unfortunate few who were unable to make their press day. I was really gutted to have to miss out on another press day because of not living in close proximity to London [and not having the money to get there at the time] so it was really nice to receive something and feel like you were still involved.

It certainly did the trick with me as I've never really thought to look at their collections before, mainly due to it not being in my bookmarks [slash permanently lodged onto my internet screen via tabs, like so many other online procrastination-stations stores] but partly because I was a little apprehensive over how good the quality was. I'm an avid Primark fan, so am certainly no clothes snob, but at least when I can walk into a shop I get to see the quality for myself - something that you have to miss out on with online shopping.

But, temporary worries aside, I can safely say that I'm really impressed with the bag and dress, both came quickly, wrapped in leopard print tissue paper [always a win with me] and are bound to be wardrobe staples for me this winter - thanks Boohoo!

x

P.S if anyone can offer hat-etiquette lessons, they'd be much appreciated. Yet again I chickened out of wearing this bad boy for fear of having to do that awkward hand-hover as you decide whether to take it off indoors. I'd feel really rude wearing it inside, but maybe that's my inner granny talking?

I've never ordered from boohoo as I've always been worried it'll be delivered in an old carrier bag and look markety.
Oh how your pictures have proved me wrong - you look so chic! Like a modern day bugsy malone character. This is meant as a compliment so please take it as one!

I am seriously hooked on BooHoo. They have great clothes, and the quality isn't that bad. Absolutely love the bag you picked out.

I think fashion has taken over hat etiquette, if it completes your outfit rather than using it for warmth or whatever then keep it on! Noone wants to go round with hat hair!!

My hat rule of thumb is that if I am going to be sitting somewhere inside for more than fifteen minutes, I take it off. If not, I leave it on. It's hardly a real "rule" though--pretty sure I just made that up! Love that hat on you though, you look fab!
