There's nothing like a little black dress, some good company and a spritz of perfume to create a fabulous Saturday night out.
And as much as I want to hit myself in the face for being such a horrific cliche, my outfit can be the make or break of a good night. With an awkwardness that feels the need to exude so freely, I need a dress that I feel truly comfortable in; that I can put on and not have to think about again.
The more forgettable, the better.
This little peplum gem therefore, was perfect. Ten pounds, the perfect length and safe enough to last through seasons, it makes me wonder what I ever did before Primark.

I bought the spotty version of this dress- it's such a great shape. Primark truly is brilliant. If it disappeared tomorrow I don't think I'd know what to do!
